The goal in Old Maid is to avoid being the player who ends the game holding the Old Maid, which is the Joker card. The player holding this card at the end of the game is the loser.

Go Fish is a matching card game where each player tries to collect matching cards. Once you have a complete set of a given rank, you may discard the set. You win by getting rid of all your cards first.
