This time its a collection of their tips for the Kindle. Given the fact that no one does a better job of demonstrating their apps and helping people use their other products, there is no one better to put together this collection.

One sale ends, another begins. Amazon is running another $0.99 sale through September 12th on select games for the Kindle. The interesting part about this sale is that unlike last week’s education sale, this one is actually getting publicized. The previous sale was mentioned if you get the Kindle emails and on the Facebook page, but not on the Kindle Store itself (if it was and I missed it, please let me know). It looks like Amazon is still trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t, and still doesn’t have a uniform system for marketing and promotion.

Swashapps has released an app for the Kindle that will allow you to do many of the simple applications that help out with your finances including fixed and variable rate mortgages, term deposits with simple and compounding interest, regular deposit, monthly income deposits, and a credit card payment calculator. There is only one review so far but it does rate the app at only 2 stars.

Ever wish your Kindle was an Etch A Sketch? Doodle from 16 Hands is one of the newest apps on the Kindle market and that is exactly what it offers. Lots of new developer faces on the Kindle store these days. Gamelion is the latest with their Doodle Fit game. If you’re not familiar with the premise I’m sure you played around with these logic puzzles when you were in school. Essentially you have a set of oddly shaped pieces and the objective is to form a shape or fill in an area. The game features 250 puzzles of increasing difficult and sells for $1.99.
Newcomer Izzylabs released TakeNote today on the Kindle.

EA has been quiet for quite a long while with their Kindle releases but now they have released their seventh title, this one branded with their POGO group. The game features Hearts, Spades, Euchre, Gin and Canasta along with tutorials and rules for each of the game. The title sells for $3.99, hit the jump for more information.
Cluemaster has released their first title for the Kindle with a new Kakuro game. The title features 100 puzzles spanning four difficulty levels. The game has one 4 star review right now and sells for $1.99.
